Fathom Productions is proud to present Fathom 4, a full night of the hottest Drum and Bass and House music at one of Raleigh's premiere venues:

Pieter K (Breakbeat Science : Metaformal : Palette : Los Angeles)
Pieter K is highly regarded by both critics and fans as one of the most creative and innovative music producers and DJs to come along in years, providing singles and dubs to some of the biggest names in Drum and Bass. Pieter is a resident DJ at LA's popular "Substance" drum and bass weekly. He's also a rotating resident at LA's monthly Eraser, a night dedicated to mostly live electronic music of any stripe. Pieter
gets down to musical business with a distinct, refreshing approach, and will be blessing the Carolinas with his fresh sounds.

Luna (Nemcron Recordings : Charlotte)
Luna has been spinning and building up the North Carolina Drum and Bass scene since 1994. With the help of Avril Jade, Isis and Ahnon, Luna launched Nemcron Recordings, a Trans-Atlantic Drum and Bass exchange and record label.

Chadwick (Globalight : The Office : Wax Worx : Raleigh)
Chadwick is hands-down the most popular house DJ in North Carolina. Many of the artists you hear spinning every week will list Chadwick as one of his or her influences. Known for his wide selection of smooth tracks and impeccable mixing ability, he has presided over some of the hottest dancefloors and parties in the area.

Bobby C. (Joekerland : Funktion: Globalight : Raleigh)
Influenced by the sounds of many of progressive's top names, Bobby C. plays a steady flow of progressive rhythms. From deep hypnotic dark house, crashing tribal beats, to bang'n nu-skool breaks, Bobby C. has a repertoire guaranteed to get even the stodgiest party-goer dancing.

Be sure and check out the new "Fathom Membership" program we are starting. Details can be found at http://www.ncfathom.com/memberships

To get your membership discount, simply "Register" for the Fathom Forums if you have yet to do so. Then make at least 7 valid posts between now and April 4 (24 hours before the party).  Be sure that you include your real name when you register (Your name is only visible to me, the Administrator, and not to other users.)

We will print out a list of Fathom Members on the Friday evening before the party. Just show up with your ID that matches the real name you provided at registration, and you will receive the discount. It is that simple.

Thanks!

Can someone describe to me the musical styles of the opening acts?  I've heard Pieter K before but not the others.

Also, where's Pieter K from?

suki.

Hey,

Luna plays Drum and Bass like Pieter K, and Chadwick and Bobby C both play House music, with a little bit of other styles mixed in.

And Pieter K is from Los Angeles. He has a few weeklys out there in addition to his producing.

Is Pieter K going to be doing a DJ set or a live set of his original stuff? I've heard the stuff he's produced (which rawks) but I've never heard anything about his DJ sets. I can't imagine that it'd be much different from his production, but a live PA would be badass...
